LATE BATTH FOR LUCKY WOLVES

-

Wolves 3 Bristol City 3

REF Steve Martin had to tell both bosses to calm down after a touchline bust-up.

Coaches and backroom staff faced off after Bristol’s Bailey Wright and Wolves’ Danny Batth collided.

Home boss Nuno was incensed Martin had given City a 57th-minute Famara Diedhiou penalty equaliser for Ruben Vinagre’s hand ball. Then Nuno shot down the touchline demanding a pen after the Wright-Batth clash.

Bobby Reid‘s 82nd-minute strike may have been the winner, but Wolves came back and Batth’s header with five minutes to go levelled.

Wolves led on 28 minutes with Leo Bonatini. Aden Flint equalised three minutes before half-time and Jota had then put Wolves in front.
