Foo Fighters fans’ fury at duff tickets
FANS who spent hundreds of pounds to see the Foo Fighters were turned away from a concert in a row over invalid tickets.
Gig-goers with tickets bought from secondary websites were refused entry at London’s O2 Arena as their ID did not match the name on the ticket.
One furious fan claimed: “My husband and his brother are among hundreds turned away.”
Promoters SJM said: “Fans that bought through our official box offices had to agree they were buying named tickets.
“We did this to prevent tickets being resold at extortionate prices.
“Foo Fighters, SJM and the O2 are frustrated that tickets fell into the hands of unscrupulous secondary ticket agencies.”
