Acid rampage at shops ‘part of gang feud’
AN acid attack that injured six people has been linked to a gang war in which a boy of 14 was shot dead.
Witnesses said a brawl broke out between youths minutes before victims were sprayed with acid from drinks bottles. Three victims went to hospital.
Eyewitness Darren said: “This new weapon they are using is terrifying.”
Locals claim the attack at Stratford Centre, East London, could be revenge for the death of Corey Junior Davis, who was shot outside of his home in Forest Gate this month.
Police said it was “too early to confirm anything”.
Officers are yet to identify a flammable substance that was thrown from a bridge near Winchester, Hants, shutting the M3 for 11 hours on Saturday.
