Divorced couple on Loose Women
SHANE Richie will come face to face with Coleen Nolan on TV for the first time since the couple divorced.
The EastEnders star is to appear next to the presenter on Loose Women to plug his new country music album.
And despite their split, the 53-year-old said: “I’m looking forward to going on.
“The girls are great, and I’ll be seeing the ex-wife… remember me? I love watching Loose Women. I like to see what I’ve been up to.”
Shane invited the ITV show’s producers to his first live gig in London where the set list included a song about how booze wrecked his six-year marriage to Mirror columnist Coleen, 52. She caught him cheating with dancer Claire Tyler in 1996 and the pair divorced a year later.
Both have discussed the split in autobiographies, and Coleen refers to it on Loose Women. Shane insisted he has no problem with her talking about it on TV but said their sons Shane Jr, 29, and Jake, 25, cringe at her stories, including one about how she listened to her eldest having sex when he accidentally phoned her. Shane’s album A Country Soul is out in November.
