Sergio on the mend
SERGIO AGUERO has handed Manchester City a huge boost by returning to training ahead of schedule after suffering a broken rib in a car crash last month.
Aguero, initially expected to be sidelined for six weeks, missed City’s 1-0 win at Chelsea as well as two World Cup qualifiers. But he returned to light training yesterday, with a view to joining in with the full sessions when medical staff deem him ready.
The 29-year-old, one goal shy of Eric Brook’s 78-year-old City record of 177 goals, is unlikely to play any part in Saturday’s home game against Stoke.
