Boozing fire chief sacked

A FIRE brigade commander caught nearly twice the drink-drive limit has been dismissed.

Paul Holland appealed when the Buckinghamshire service axed him but it has now been upheld. He was banned and fined in June. His dad is the government’s top fire adviser.
