I read your interview with Johnnie Walker (Mirror, October 10) with much interest as I have been a great fan of his for many years.
He used to keep me entertained with his Radio 2 programmes in the evenings and now with his Sounds of the 70s at weekends.
I’d like to thank Johnnie and his wife Tiggy for sharing their battles with cancer. It puts so much into context and proves that the love of a partner can be a great help when fighting a serious health problem. I wish them both good luck for their walk on the Great Wall of China.
