BEN: TIGERS IN THE HUNT

BEN YOUNGS says Leicester are “right where we need to be” going into today’s home Euro clash with Castres.

Tigers were beaten at Racing 92 in their Pool 4 opener but a losing bonus point, allied to Castres and Munster drawing, means they are still very much alive.

Youngs (above) said: “We all felt at the beginning of the season that, with the amount of changes we’d had, there were always going to be teething problems.

“But we are way beyond that now and right where we need to be. We just need to understand in the big games how important the small margins are. We probably didn’t manage those moments well against Racing.”

Gareth Owen and Valentino Mapapalangi come in for centre Matt Smith and banned flanker Mike Williams.
