NEW ONE BACK IN ACTION

THE NEW ONE is “raring to go” for his reappearance in the Ladbrokes Welsh Champion Hurdle at Ffos Las today.

Nigel Twiston-Davies’ stable favourite has never been beaten on his first run of the campaign, and the Gloucestershire trainer (below) said yesterday: “He’s raring to go and in great form. “We’re going to stay over hurdles with him — there is more money in the top races than in novice chases — and we’ll start off at two miles and then see where we go with him.”
