Herrera in Spurs fear

ANDER HERRERA has claimed Tottenham are a “real rival” for the Premier League and the Champions League ahead of their Old Trafford showdown on Saturday.

The Spaniard’s Manchester United face three games in nine days, starting with Spurs who are level on points with the Reds in second place.

“It’s good to face that game with good feelings,” said Herrera, after Tuesday’s League Cup win at Swansea.

“It will be a big statement to beat them – we have to win against them because they are a direct rival for the title.

“Tottenham are a real rival, they are contenders for everything – even for the Champions League.”
