Hack on NHS ‘was N Korea’
BRITAIN’S Security Minister has publicly blamed North Korea for the WannaCry cyber attack that targeted the NHS.
Ben Wallace said: “We believe quite strongly it came from a foreign state.
“North Korea is the state we believe was involved in this worldwide attack.”
He added: “North Korea has been potentially linked to other attacks about raising foreign currency.”
May’s ransomware hack infected more than 300,000 computers in 150 countries, demanding money.
