Instead she did a bit of light dusting and over promoted a charmless crony with no ministerial experience leaving the impression she let Williamson appoint himself. An already isolated Mrs May is now further debilitated.
More resignations are likely to force her into further changes. And with each one she will lose more support.
The Tory ranks must soon conclude that the only way to halt the demise is to remove the person who personifies it.
