Deadly crash agent’s texts

A FOOTBALL agent was messaging players before he killed a highways officer and left another paralysed on a motorway.

Peter Morrison also did an average 81mph for 23 miles in his Mercedes in bad weather before losing control, hitting the men as they stood beside the road.

Carlisle crown court was told a message was sent 96 seconds before crash on the M6 in Cumbria.

Morrison, of Worsley, Gtr Manchester, denies dangerous driving.

The trial continues.
