For three decades, the Aussie soap Neighbours has had viewers around the world hooked on the goings-on in Ramsay Street.

And now the show is set to be remade for audiences in Turkey. The adaptation, called Komsular, will be set in Karanfil Yokusu, a fictional suburb of Istanbul.

The Turkish Erinsborough will be one of the oldest and most beautiful parts of Istanbul, home to people from all walks of life.
