‘Meghan? There’s nowhere to hide her’
PRINCE Harry did not bring his actress girlfriend Meghan Markle to a remembrance event because he “could not hide her anywhere”.
The royal, 33, was chatting with ex-serviceman Matt Weston at the annual Westminster Abbey service yesterday when he made the joke.
Matt, 28, said: “I took the mickey and asked where his missus was, and he said she wasn’t here. I asked if she’d come next time as she’s awesome. He said he couldn’t hide her anywhere.”
Matt, of Taunton, Somerset, served with 33 Engineer Regiment Royal Engineers in Afghanistan.
He joined Harry in a two-minute silence after the prince, in his Household Division frock coat and forage cap, laid a cross at the Field of Remembrance.
Harry is expected to start living with 36-year-old Meghan soon.
