NOTTINGHAM FOREST, the European champions, were set to sell Tony Woodcock to Cologne before snapping up Peter Ward from Brighton as his replacement. Seagulls boss Alan Mullery would receive £600,000 for Ward. Woodcock, who also played for Arsenal, spent three years with the German team.
