It may be time to rethink loyalty

KATE will be appalled and deeply disappointed by her uncle’s actions.

For Gary Goldsmith to be publicly shamed for something so awful as domestic violence must have caused deep upset in the Middletons.

While there is no danger of his actions harming her reputation, his appearance in court yesterday while she toured a family centre would have played on her mind. But it is a tribute to Kate’s professionalism that there was no hint of upset as she did her duty.

Kate and Pippa have shown loyalty to Gary but whether they can stand by him after this must surely be in doubt.
