CONEYGREE, the 2015 Cheltenham Gold Cup winner, could return to action as early as next month following a wind operation.

He has failed to finish in his last two starts but trainer Mark Bradstock is now eyeing the Cotswold Chase at Cheltenham.

Definitly Red will step up his preparations for a possible tilt at the Timico Cheltenham Gold Cup by running in the Sky Bet Chase at Doncaster on January 27.

Trainer Brian Ellison said. “He will have an entry in the Gold Cup and Grand National, and will run in one of them.”
