PRICES STREETS AHEAD

-

Homes on Britain’s most expensive street cost nearly 75 times the national average.

A typical property on Grosvenor Crescent, in London’s ultra-posh Belgravia district, would set you back a cool £16.9million, according to research by Lloyds Bank.

Next is nearby Ilchester Place in Holland Park, with an average £16.7m price tag, and Eaton Square (13.6m), where TV cook Nigella Lawson used to live.

The mind-boggling sums compare with a national average house price of just under £227,000.
