Good to soft at Kempton

THE two-day King George fixture is expected to start on ground officially described as good to soft, soft in places.

“There’s a band of rain of 5-10mm coming tonight, and that should maintain it as championship ground,” said Kempton’s clerk of the course Barney Clifford.
