Donny on the brink

- BY DAVID YATES

BRITAIN may have no jump racing today if Doncaster fails a 7am inspection.

The ground at Doncaster is a mixture of soft and good to soft, but officials are concerned about the possibility of snow and freezing temperatures.

Kelso is already off because of frost and forecast snow.

There are no problems reported with Southwell’s all-weather meeting, while hopes are high for Leopardstown today as the track got the all-clear for their cards yesterday.

Warwick will stage an inspection at 8am today for its meeting on Sunday.

The ground is heavy and there is patchy snow and areas of standing water on the course.
