Top media chief: Every word I’ve read is accurate
AS Donald Trump and the White House denounced Michael Wolff’s sources, a highpowered witness came forward to confirm one of the revelations.
Janice Min, co-president of The Hollywood Reporter, backed the author’s claims that Fox News supremo Roger Ailes said Trump “would jump through hoops” for media mogul Rupert Murdoch and Russian leader Vladimir Putin. And the late Ailes allegedly told Trump’s aide Steve Bannon: “I just worry about who’s jerking whose chain.” During the meal, at Wolff’s New York townhouse, the men also allegedly discussed how poor Trump’s knowledge of foreign policy was. After the US President mocked Wolff’s sources in Fire and Fury, Min said she was at the dinner and heard the conversation.
She tweeted: “So I was one of the 6 guests at the Bannon-Ailes dinner party in January 2017 and every word I’ve seen from the book about it is absolutely accurate. It was an astonishing night.”
