Money at core of Apple issue

For years parents and academics have been worried about the addictive effect of smartphones and tablets on our kids. And nothing much happened to stop it.

But now two of Apple’s investors – who own about $2billion of shares – have said the company must do more to enable mums and dads to control screen time.

So I guess we’ll be seeing action some time soon.

And that’s the power of big business.
