NEIL GETS CLAWS OUT FOR CATS

- BY JAMES CANDY

NEIL WARNOCK admits the wheels have come off Cardiff’s promotion charge.

The Bluebirds have fallen out of the Championship’s top two after losing their last four league matches.

But boss Warnock said his side can bounce back by ruining the Cardiff return of Sunderland’s former Wales chief Chris Coleman.

He said: “At the moment we’re not scoring goals and we’re conceding so we’re in disarray – we have to work hard on the training ground.

“It’s a big game for both clubs, we want to get back to winning ways and they will want to get away from the bottom three.”

Warnock (above) has signed Norwich’s Yanic Wildschut on loan to inject life into his struggling squad.

The Netherlands Under-21 winger goes straight into the squad for today’s clash with the rock-bottom Black Cats.

And Warnock believes that Wildschut can reignite Cardiff’s attacking spark after only scoring once in their last three matches.

He said: “I’ve liked him a long time. His first thought is positive and committing people, that’s what I like.”
