Saints stay not Clasie for Jordy

SOUTHAMPTON reject Jordy Clasie wants to make his loan at FC Brugge permanent after a scathing attack on the South Coast side.

Clasie, 26, moved to the Belgium league leaders in the summer after falling out of favour at St Mary’s.

The Holland international said: “I am happy at Brugge after a horrible spell in England.

“We will see what my best option is in the summer. Champions League football next season would be nice.”

Clasie scored two goals in 49 games for Saints after being signed from Feyenoord by Ronald Koeman.
