Carvalhal’s jibe at sacked Clem
SWANSEA boss Carlos Carvalhal has issued a sly dig at his axed predecessor Paul Clement.
The Portuguese thinks his players have improved significantly since he succeeded Clement in December.
Swansea still prop up the Premier League, but Carvalhal has now won three of his six games in charge.
“We’re seeing the players reach a new level as they have confidence in their new dynamic,” he said.
“The players are jumping to another level now because they know exactly what they must do.”
