GRIFFON vulture Harold has amazed sanctuary staff, by laying an egg.

The bird of prey was listed as male 20 years ago.

A member of staff at Eagle Heights Wildlife Foundation, in Eynsford, Kent, said: “We will now be searching for a husband for her. Watch this space.”
