RONALD KOEMAN is the new man in the Holland hot seat.

The former Everton boss has signed a fourand-a-half-year deal to manage their underperforming squad who failed to qualify for this year’s World Cup.

His contract will take him through – the Dutch football federation hope – to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. “I am really looking forward to it and I think it is a great honour,” said Koeman.

Sutton, a titlewinner with Blackburn in 1995, said: “He’s a big baby isn’t he?

“Yes, he’s disappointed not to go to a bigger club, I understand that, but Leicester put him on the map and he has to see out his contract. He is letting his manager and his team-mates down.”

Mahrez, signed for just £400,000 from Le Havre six years ago, claims Leicester have broken a promise to let him go once they received an acceptable offer. Mahrez and his camp deem a £60m bid perfectly acceptable given the amount he was bought for.
