WHELAN DEALING FOR LATICS EXIT

WIGAN owner Dave Whelan has agreed in principle to sell the club to the Hong Kong-based International Entertainment Corporation.

Whelan, 81, who bought the Latics in 1995, has entered an exclusivity agreement with IEC, whose main interests are hotels and casinos.
