PRINCE William says he is concerned for girls as they may feel pressured to live up to photos that have been touched up.

He warned pupils against trying to emulate photoshopped images of women.

Wills, a surprise guest at a school assembly yesterday, said: “I worry for you girls.

“The touchedup pictures are not real. Don’t try to recreate them or think that’s what you’ve got to aim for.

“There’s a lot of fakeness online.” The prince, 35, and rapper Professor Green, 34, visited the school to answer questions on mental health and cyber bullying.

Wills told the teenagers: “Don’t spend all day online. Seriously, don’t. For your mental health, get outside, come away from the screen. “By all means be on a screen but don’t be on it all day... it will only bring you into another world.” Talking to Year 10 pupils about issues they face in the internet age, he said: “It’s a lot of pressure. “There’s so many things going on. “You’re going to be bamboozled.” The prince, who campaigns to raise awareness of young people’s mental health, also talked at Burlington Danes Academy in White City, West London, about lads bottling up their emotions. He said: “Boys, we’ve really got to work hard on being able to talk to friends, family and trusted people about how we feel.”
