Hygiene’s not to be sniffed at
PERSONAL hygiene is more important than good looks on a date, a survey found.
Some 94% of daters would be put off by a partner who smelled bad, but only 73% of people list looks as a deal-breaker.
Bad manners topped the list at 95%, the Match.com poll shows. Dr Caroline Allen, of Newcastle University, said: “Humans have distinct odour fingerprints.
“There are a range of traits we seem to be able to detect in body odour, such as quality of diet, health and personality.”
