Classy United reap dividend

IN a way, it was sort of a shame an emotional week for everyone connected to Manchester United had to end with the quarterly conference call to investors on the New York Stock Exchange and the publication of financial results, but modern football life goes on. There is more to a great club, though, than financial figures and projections and United showed that in their remembrance of the Munich Air Disaster. Of course, you would expect them to do it wonderfully well, to do it so poignantly, to pitch it so well. But that doesn’t mean they should not be saluted for doing so.
