NO. This is NOT how it’s supposed to go. Jennifer Aniston had achieved Happily Ever After status and the story was supposed to end there. She had triumphed over adversity and this twist was definitely not in the script, and is extremely unwelcome. We’ve been rooting for Jen since the start when, against Hollywood odds, the pretty girl-next-door lands the hottest A-list actor on the planet. Then Brad leaves her for evil Angelina, smashing her heart into a million pieces and rubbing salt into her wounds repeatedly thanks to the sensitivity chip he was famously missing. Boo. Hiss.

The girl-next-door is then reluctantly recast as the unlucky-in-love spinster, abandoned on the shelf and doomed to be forever alone. And then along came Justin – younger, better looking than Brad (who has since massively lost it because KARMA) and utterly devoted.

There’s never been a photo of Justifer where he hasn’t looked utterly delighted to be by her side. Finally, Jennifer had the happiness she deserved. We could all breathe a sigh of relief.

But now it has all gone wrong. It’s devastating. And NO, she will NOT be getting back with Brad now they’re both single, thank you very much. As if we could ever trust him again!
