Her Maj in hot seat for fashion show
THE Queen sits in the front row for a catwalk show at London Fashion Week – and finds the prints charming.
Her Majesty, 91, joined fashion queen Anna Wintour as a skinny model strutted by in a combination of scarves and spotty tights, topped with a green crash helmet.
It is not a look usually seen in the corri- dors of Buckingham Palace, but she was happy to present designer Richard Quinn with the inaugural Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design afterwards.
The Queen, wearing a duck-egg blue Swarovski crystal-studded suit, praised “the tweed of the Hebrides to Nottingham lace, and of course Carnaby Street”.
