Melania’s Einstein visa is a real brain teaser
SPECULATION is rife over how Donald Trump’s in-laws managed to gain legal permanent residency.
Many believe they are now on the cusp of US citizenship thanks to chain migration, which lets relatives use family members in order to be allowed to live in the US. It’s the same system Trump aims to axe, believing it only brings in terrorists and rapists.
But this week it emerged First Lady Melania Trump, 47, got her green card through a programme specifically for people with “extraordinary ability”.
The elite EB-1 “Einstein visa” is reserved for people such as academic researchers and top business execs as well as those who have shown “sustained acclaim”.
With her lawyer declining to publish details of her application, it makes you wonder what Mel’s “extraordinary ability” was. At the time, the Slovenian model was best known for stripping off for magazines and being pictured in a bikini wrestling a 6ft inflatable orca. Seems 18 years on, nothing has changed.
Some say she’s still holding a 6ft whale.
