It’s been revealed that BBC presenter Steph McGovern – who complained about getting paid less because she’s not posh – has doubled her salary by hosting swanky dinner bashes. How very dare she? Although I can’t work out if the elitist outrage is over whether she can hold a knife and fork at such events.

Or still that someone of her background has had the audacity to speak the truth.
