Women in mass brawl after male strip show
A MOTHER’S Day strip show ended in “carnage” after a dozen women got into a vicious brawl.
The free event was organised by a pub – to treat mums to “something different” on their special Sunday.
But after the excited women were whipped into a frenzy by the male performers, a mass fight broke out.
Witnesses described those involved as “animals” when the trouble spilled over into the car park and other women joined in.
Police were called to quell the violence and two women, aged 24 and 30, were arrested.
The Mother’s Day entertainment included a dungaree-clad workman, a “policeman” and a “soldier”.
WILD
One of the strippers, whose stage name is Johnny Hunter, was warned it was “wild” before he went on.
The 28-year-old was second on the bill. He said: “When I got there, the bouncer told me, ‘you haven’t seen nowt like it. It’s wild in there’.
“There were about 100 women there all cheering, screaming and doing wolf whistles when we came in. They will have been knocking it back... They were a rowdy bunch and were all game and up for it.”
Johnny said he left the pub in Normanby, Middlesbrough, straight after his act, so missed all the trouble.
One local described the scene that followed the event saying: “It was mayhem, they were all hammered, some screaming and others in tears.”
Witness Jenny Fleming said on Facebook afterwards: “Carnage, they’re worse than the men.”
A Cleveland Police spokeswoman said: “Police were called to the Woodman Arms at around 10.25pm on Sunday night to reports of up to a dozen women fighting. Two women, aged 24 and 30, were arrested.”
