SILVA JUST PURE GOLD CLAIMS KDB

KEVIN DE BRUYNE says his Manchester City team-mate David Silva does not get the credit he deserves.

Silva, whose double against Stoke on Monday took his tally to four in his last four games, has only once been named in the PFA Team Of The Year – in 2011-12 when City won their first Premier League crown.

De Bruyne is baffled by the lack of recognition for the Spaniard (left), who is the Premier League’s undisputed assists king – no player comes near to the 73 he has amassed since he moved to the Etihad in 2010.

“David is unbelievable to play alongside,” said De Bruyne. “He’s very underrated and that means a lot considering his standards.”
