Cherries keen on Robins’ star Reid

BOURNEMOUTH want Bristol City’s Bobby Reid, the Championship’s joint top scorer.

The 25-year-old has 19 goals this season – 17 in the league – to spearhead City’s drive for promotion to the top flight.

Cherries boss Eddie Howe sent his chief scout Steve Lovell to watch Reid (above) in the Robins’ 1-0 win over Ipswich on Saturday.

Reid has been stalling on signing a new long-term deal at Ashton Gate.
