Mario so Inter the Hammers he’ll stay

JOAO MARIO is ready to reject a summer return to Inter Milan to stay at West Ham.

The Portugal midfielder (above) is on loan at the London Stadium until the end of the season, and insists he would prefer to play for the Hammers rather than go back to his parent club to sit on the bench.

He said: “I’m in a new league and trying to adapt quickly. I’m happy with my new adventure and hope to finish the season well. Inter are part of my past now.”
