STRIKER John Fashanu gave Wimbledon an injury scare just days before their FA Cup semi-final. The hardman suffered a hamstring injury in a league loss to Coventry. He did recover to score as the Dons beat Luton 2-1 to reach Wembley. He also played in the famous final as favourites Liverpool were beaten 1-0.
