Two arrested as cabbie dies after ‘airport car park row’
A TAXI driver has died following a heart attack after an alleged row in an airport car park.
William Brent Taylor, known to friends as Brent, was described as “one of the nicest people you could have met”.
The 57-year-old grandad, of Holmewood, Chesterfield, Derbys, is understood to have suffered a heart attack after “reports of an assault” in the multistorey parking facility yesterday at Manchester’s Terminal 2.
Mr Taylor, who worked for private hire firm A-Line Taxis, died later in Wythenshawe Hospital. Two men, aged 55 and 26, were arrested on suspicion of manslaughter and remain in custody.
DCI Carl Jones, of Greater Manchester Police, said: “Several witnesses are helping with our inquiries.”
