Slinging the blues
The row over who makes our new UK blue passport – Britain’s De La Rue or a Franco-Dutch firm – obscures a more critical issue.
In less than a year, we all lose our European citizenship, making travel on the continent more difficult and the passport less acceptable globally.
No wonder Brits in Northern Ireland, including self-styled Loyalists, are queuing up for Irish passports to sustain their Euro identity.
I wish I had an Irish family. Mine is from the Scottish borders. Wrong border, Routers!
