Fans of the 1960s show can be prepared to be blown away.

Lost in Space may have last been a TV hit more than five decades ago, but the Robinson family’s intergalactic adventures are now getting a whole new out-of-this-world reboot.

The 10-episode series is set in the near future of 2046 and is streaming on Netflix. It centres around the Robinsons who are onboard a spacecraft travelling to a new world when their ship gets caught in a rip in space time leaving them stranded on an unknown planet.

Fans will be pleased to see there’s still a super-strength Robot, often with emotions more human than the humans, while the show also takes a much darker tone then the original.
