Apology for bride-to-be called ‘cow’
A BRIDE-TO-BE was branded a “cow” and told staff were “p***ed off ” by her menu requests after accidentally being emailed by a restaurant manager.
Jade Sharp received the message after touring The Mulberry Tree in Maidstone, Kent, as a potential wedding venue.
In the email, the restaurant worker said they were “p***ed off ” after Jade asked how much it would be for bread rolls as a starter and a roast dinner.
“Well she’s a cow!” the message added.
Jade later said her treatment had been “disgusting and disrespectful”.
Restaurant boss Karen Williams apologised on TripAdvisor, saying she was “mortified, horrified and embarrassed” by her staff member’s gaffe.
