MIGHT FEVER

Henderson ace Bite is top of bill

- BY DAVID YATES

MIGHT BITE heads an all-star cast as the Grand National meeting roars into action at Aintree today.

The Cheltenham Gold Cup runner-up is set to go off a hot favourite against seven rivals in the opening day’s feature, the Grade 1 Betway Bowl (2.50, ITV).

Might Bite was outstayed by Native River over the Gold Cup’s extended three and a quarter miles, and his trainer Nicky Henderson said yesterday: “Three miles and one round Aintree will suit him better.

“He had a hard race but he’s been bright and fresh since Cheltenham.”
