C5, 10pm Let’s be honest. Sometimes when much-loved shows return after a long absence, we end up wishing they’d just left us with our happy memories (we’ll whisper it, This Life +10 anyone?).

But after the stars of Will & Grace got back together to film a 10-minute online special urging Americans to vote in the 2016 Presidential election, NBC got thinking about whether we all needed to see more of Will, Grace, Jack and Karen. This ninth series has been a big hit, and ends tonight with a double bill, in which Grace takes Will along when she returns to her hometown to commemorate her late mother’s birthday.

Following that, the best friends find a surprising connection between their parents, Jack rebounds from his break-up and Karen faces up to a tough choice she needs to make.

Now another two series have been ordered. We’ll channel Karen, and drink to that!
