Dancer, Series 2, 2008 His performance to Mint Royale’s remix of Gene Kelly’s Singin’ In The Rain will go down in BGT history. Street dancer George Sampson, 23, won the second series.

He still loves dance but has branched out into acting, playing Kyle Stack in drama Waterloo Road from 2011 to 2013, and appearing in Emmerdale in 2016.

In 2017 he had a go at the West End, starring in musical Our House.

He met his girlfriend Lauren Grice while appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show. Last year he revealed he had a hair transplant after genetics, alopecia and spinning on his head gave him a bald strip.

George, of Warrington, Cheshire, says: “I’d love to be in a blockbuster, return to the West End and be in a soap.”
