EDERSON 9/10 Appearance­s : 33 Goals: 0 Fully justified his £35million fee from Benfica and has performed with distinctio­n in the sweeper-keeper role favoured by Pep Guardiola. Outstandin­g distributi­on, courageous and anticipate­s danger early on. Hard to find a weakness in his game. And still only 24.

KYLE WALKER 9/10 Appearance­s: 30

Goals: 0 Another who has lived up to his big fee following his £50m switch from Tottenham last summer. His pace, strength and attacking ability have added an extra dimension to City’s right side.

DANILO 7/10 Appearance­s: 19

Goals: 2 Signed from Real Madrid last summer to act as cover in both full-back roles, he has been used at right-back as back-up to Walker, and proved an able if unspectacu­lar deputy.

VINCENT KOMPANY 7/10 Appearance­s: 15

Goals: 1 Another injury-ravaged campaign from City’s captain, but Guardiola’s side always look more secure at the back with the experience and leadership he brings to central defence.

NICOLAS OTAMENDI 9/10 Appearance­s: 32

Goals: 4 One of the most improved players under Guardiola. Used to be guilty of rash challenges and careless defending, but is now more composed and assured on the ball and arguably City’s best central defender.

JOHN STONES 7/10 Appearance­s: 16

Goals: 0 Started the season as an automatic pick in defence, but faced a six-week injury lay-off over the Christmas and New Year period and has not been as convincing since his return to the fold.

FABIAN DELPH 8/10 Appearance­s: 18

Goals: 1 Could have left in the summer but decided to stay, his decision vindicated when Benjamin Mendy was ruled out for the season early on, with Guardiola reinventin­g Delph as a left-back.

FERNANDINH­O 9/10 Appearance­s: 30

Goals: 3 City’s Brazilian warrior, he has been a mainstay for Guardiola this season, anchoring the midfield with his customary bite and belligeren­ce, providing the platform for the more creative players to flourish ahead of him. ILKAY GUNDOGAN 8/10 Appearance­s: 25 Goals: 4 Came back from a 10-month injury lay-off in September to boost City’s squad and give Guardiola more options in midfield. Cultured on the ball and a key man in midfield throughout.

DAVID SILVA 9/10 Appearance­s: 27

Goals: 8 His Hi enduring d quality was all the more remarkable given he was playing against the backdrop of personal trauma following the premature birth of his son midway through the season. Still such a vital player for City, even at the age of 32. A truly class act.

KEVIN DE BRUYNE 10/10 Appearance­s: 33

Goals: 7 City’s Player Pl of the Season. Scored seven, provided 15 assists and maintained a level of brilliance that marked him out as City’s key man. Played in every Premier League game this season. Unplayable at times and has entered the elite bracket of world-class players.

RAHEEM STERLING 9/10 Appearance­s: 29

Goals: 17 Another player who has improved immeasurab­ly under Guardiola, improving his decision-making, positionin­g and adding goals to his game, with 17 of his overall total of 22 coming in the Premier League this term.

LEROY SANE 9/10 Appearance­s: 28

Goals: 9 Endorsed his standing as one of Europe’s most exciting young players in his second season at City, scoring nine goals, providing 11 assists and nailing down his position on the left of Guardiola’s front three. Still only 22, his potential is frightenin­g.

BERNARDO SILVA 8/10 Appearance­s: 29 Goals:4

A £42m £42 summer signing from Monaco, he had to wait for his chance, but has shown his value as a squad player by making 29 league appearance­s. Scored the winner at home to Chelsea in March.

SERGIO AGUERO 10/10 Appearance­s: 25

Goals: 21 Against Aita backdrop of doubts over his future, he became City’s all-time leading scorer and proved his class, leading their attack with breathtaki­ng quality, plundering 21 goals.

GABRIEL JESUS 7/10 Appearance­s: 24

hGoals: 10 Although ruled out for eight weeks after suffering a knee injury on New Year’s Eve, he still struggled in his first full season with City, with only 10 goals in the Premier League.
