Manx Missile’s set to Tyke off
MARK CAVENDISH will make his comeback – after crashing out of three consecutive races – at the Tour de Yorkshire next month.
The Manx Missile’s season has been blighted by high-speed spills, broken bones and concussion. And Cavendish, 32, has unfinished business after coming to grief at the Tour de France in Harrogate, on the Grand Depart four years ago.
But with the peloton setting off from Beverley on May 3, Cavendish said: “It’s the first time I’ve raced the Tour de Yorkshire and I’m so excited.”
